#About the Story

 Love Before Death is a poignant tale of first love, courage, and selfless sacrifice. It follows Subham, a young boy whose love for Kavya becomes the defining journey of his life. The story captures the joys of young love, the heartbreak of rejection, and the ultimate act of bravery, showing how true love sometimes goes beyond life itself.

#Chapter 1 – The Beginning (Class 8)

Subham was a simple boy. Not the topper of Class 8, but a student everyone loved. There was always a faint smile on his face, but deep inside his heart, he carried a secret – Kavya. Every day, seeing Kavya gave him a hidden joy. For him, Kavya was not just a girl, but a feeling. But would Subham ever be able to confess his feelings?

#Chapter 2 – Feelings (Class 9)

Class 9 began. Whenever Kavya walked through the school corridor, Subham’s legs froze, and his heart raced. One day, while playing Truth and Dare with friends, Kavya jokingly asked: 'Subham, tell me honestly… who is your crush?' All eyes turned to them. Subham’s heart pounded loudly. Gathering courage, he whispered: 'Kavya… it’s you.' Everyone went silent. Kavya’s eyes paused for a moment, then softly but painfully she said that she had once been in a relationship. She had loved that boy deeply, but because of a third person’s interference, the relationship turned into a painful breakup. She was shattered back then and had barely managed to recover. She didn’t want to go through such pain again. With those words, she rejected Subham’s proposal and said: 'We  can be good friends.'

#Chapter 3 – Confession and Dilemma (Class 10)

 Time flew by, and Class 10 arrived. Subham once again gathered courage and said to Kavya:    Kavya, I know you said no before… but my heart hasn’t changed. You are my life. Will you be   mine?' Kavya smiled slightly and replied: 'You are very sweet, Subham. Let me ask you something… if the time ever came, would you give your life for me?' Subham remained silent… Kavya too said nothing further, and once again kept him only as a friend.

#That Day – The Crisis

The final exams of Class 10 were approaching. One day, Kavya was on her way somewhere while  talking to Subham on the phone. Suddenly, some men appeared and forcefully tried to drag her into  a car. Kavya screamed: 'Subham! Please save me!' The call got cut. Without thinking, Subham ran from his house. His only thought was – he had to save Kavya. He couldn’t reach in time, but the   police arrived and rescued Kavya.

#Misunderstanding

When Kavya returned, she asked the police: 'How did you know? Who called you?' The police said: 'We received a call from an unknown number.' Kavya assumed Subham had ignored her. She angrily called him, but he didn’t answer. Heartbroken, she blocked him everywhere. With tears in her eyes, she thought: 'When I needed him the most, my friend wasn’t there.' But Kavya didn’t know… at that very moment, Subham lay on the ground, breathing his last.

#Subham’s Final Goodbye

Subham’s eyes were closing, yet a faint smile rested on his lips. He whispered: 'Kavya is safe… that’s all I ever wanted.' And with that… he closed his eyes forever. Because while running to her, he had met with a terrible accident. In his final moments, he called the police and told them about  Kavya. He could have called an ambulance for himself, but instead, he chose to save Kavya first –  and left this world.

#The Final Truth

Kavya never knew that a boy had sacrificed his life to save hers. For Subham, Kavya was his first and last love. And for Kavya, Subham remained just a friend… until she discovered the truth. In the end, Subham had answered the question Kavya once asked him: Would you give your life for me? His sacrifice gave that answer to all of us.
